Hello SD58 Members and Friends! 

Thank you for stopping by and visiting our web-page. We truly have had an exciting year so far with the exceptional turn-out on precinct caucus night. It’s also exciting seeing many of you involved in the 2008 state house, presidential, congressional and U.S. senatorial races! The momentum surrounding all of these races is what’s needed for us to be able to take over the white house, and win big in our local races too.

The plan for us this year is to increase voter turnout throughout our District. There are several ways to do this. One, become a Neighborhood Leader. It’s real simple. All you have to do is reach out to 25 people in your neighborhood and persuade them to vote DFL and make sure they know where to go to vote on Election Day. Two, attend a DFL event. Join other Democrats at a Get Out The Vote (GOTV) rally, convention, or click on our “Meet Other Democrats” link and find out where other Democrats hang out. Three, GOTV! Take Election Day off and help to make sure all Democrats you know make it to the polls.

Also, congratulations to all the new SD58 Directors and District Central Committee members! Congratulations to Bobby Jo Champion, who received the DFL Endorsement for House Rep. 58B at our recent SD58 Convention! A special thanks to Senator Higgins, Rep. Joe Mullery and Rep. Dominguez for all their hard work at the legislature! .
